BestPractice CPD
UPenn CME / BestPractice CPD makes PQRI easy and practical for busy primary care providers. This interactive web-based system guides professionals through PQRI using a series of questions related directly to evidence-based quality indicators in Type 2 Diabetes.

Practice Improvement Module
AIM gives physicians the tools to evaluate and improve their own practice performance by providing guidance through medical chart abstraction of de-identified data. Each question in the AIM template relates directly to evidence-based quality measures and provides a cumulative, automated data report enabling physicians to:

  • Reflect on practice performance data
  • Identify practice strengths and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement an improvement plan
  • Assess impact of practice changes through chart re-measurement, and
  • Report changes

New Health Partnerships
Increasing evidence shows us that engaged, informed patients achieve the best outcomes. They are more confident and better prepared to manage their illness--often more inspired to work with providers toward achieving shared health goals.

But "self-management" isn't easy. To accelerate the pace of change in this area, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has called on the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to manage an ambitious, three-year, $3.75 million dollar national initiative called "New Health Partnerships: Improving Care by Engaging Patients."

NetHealth was engaged to work with IHI to develop a user content managed website. This site is kept up-to-date by content experts. Visit site

Cultural Competency
A recent site launch is a course in cultural competence for health professionals who are dealing with the needs of older adults. This course has been developed to provide data, historical examples, and a theory as tools for understanding discrimination and miscommunication.

NetHealth continues to work closely with the content developers to provide important education to health care professionals. Visit the site at http://www.nethealthinc.com/cultural.

Case Macy Institute
Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has provided leadership in teaching about the Doctor-Patient relationship for over 50 years. Since 1997, CWRU, NYU, and U. Mass medical schools have collaborated with the Josiah Macy Foundation on a demonstration grant to implement and evaluate medical school curriculae in Health Communciations. NetHealth developed a website for the program, found at http://cme.case.edu/macy.

Western Reserve Geriatric Education Center
The Western Reserve Geriatric Education Center is a consortium of nationally recognized academic leaders in gerontology and geriatric medicine. NetHealth developed a website for the consortium, supporting education and training in geriatric health care. The website supports research, participant and program databases, interactive communication among health care professionals, and dissemination of geriatric care information. The website is easily updated by members of the WRGEC, with little support needed from technical personnel. View site

Education Tracking System
The secure system was developed to fulfill a need to track meetings, training sessions, online CME programs, and participants in these programs. The web-based program provides a totally integrated database that links participants and programs, providing easy access to information and reducing the time spent generating reports by an order of magnitude. Our system is now used by many organizations to track their programs and participants. Learn More
